Derry businesses encouraged to enter 2024 North West Business Awards

Businesses across the North West region are invited to participate in the upcoming 2024 North West Business Awards, organized by the City Centre Initiative (CCI) and Londonderry Chamber of Commerce (LCC).

Running for over 20 years, these awards aim to honour and celebrate the achievements of local businesses and entrepreneurs. The organisers are calling upon both the public and businesses to submit their entries or nominations by noon on Friday, April 19, 2024.

Anna Doherty from Derry Chamber of Commerce and Jim Roddy from City Centre Initiative expressed that the gala awards night has become a hallmark event in the North West, shining a spotlight on businesses across the city and wider region. It's a unique opportunity for businesses to enhance their visibility and engage with key influencers.

Jim Roddy, City Centre Manager, CCI said: “These awards aim to recognise the outstanding efforts made by our businesses and entrepreneurs over the past year, particularly those who have gone above and beyond to innovate and bolster the economy in the North West region.

Our entry process is now open until Friday 19th April 2024, and we encourage anyone interested in entering or nominating a business or entrepreneur from the North West region to do so before the deadline. The process is straightforward and can be completed online via the City Centre Initiative website or by contacting CCI or Londonderry Chamber of Commerce.

There are a wide range of categories to suit every business, and the awards night promises to be an enjoyable occasion filled with acknowledgment, entertainment, and enjoyment. We also have an incredible headline sponsor which we will be announcing on our social media platforms soon.”
