An Iranian woman charged with disorderly behaviour motivated by hate is alleged to have shouted at a Pakistani man to 'go back to your own country' Derry Magistrate's Court heard today.

Eizadi Alaleh (60) of Ebrington Street in Derry refused to appear when her case was called and the court was told she was being 'completely unco-operative'.

She was charged with disorderly behaviour in Clooney Terrace in Derry on April 21.

She was also charged with assaulting a police officer on the same date.

A police officer told the court that he could connect the accused to the charges.

District Judge Ted Magill said that he would grant bail despite Alaleh's non co-operation.

She was granted bail on condition that she does not enter Clooney Terrace and is prohibited from taking alcohol.

She will appear again on May 16.
