Second popular Derry takeaway confirmed to be ceasing operations

Bridies Culmore will be shutting it's doors in coming weeks.

Bridies Takeaway in Culmore set to close their doors on the same day as their Bishop Street store, May 25.

The Culmore store is one of two Bridies takeaways that are shutting at the same time, as Derry continues to see a raft of food businesses closing in the current cost of living crisis.

There are signs in the window of the store stating: “It is with regret that we have decided our business. Our last day of trading will be on Saturday 25th May 2024.

"We would like to thank all our customers who have supported us over the years. Thank you".
