Thornhill College will be closed this week.
Thornhill College is one of 27 secondary schools selected as part of the Schools Affiliation Scheme for the 2024–25 school year.
The Derry school is one of two schools in the county to be selected for the scheme, along with Gaelcholáiste Dhoire in Dungiven.
The scheme was launched in 2018 by Lyric Theatre Belfast with the aim of strengthening relationships with schools across Northern Ireland by developing communication links with teachers.
It was put in place to help schools support drama departments and performing arts subjects by sharing advice, expertise, and resources.
