Derry is the second-least populous county for cattle in Northern Ireland, according to new data.
Derry News acquired the data through an FOI request to the Department of Agriculture, Environment, and Rural Affairs.
A recorded figure of 212,620 cattle in June 2023 places Derry as the county with the second fewest cows.
Only Fermanagh had recorded fewer cattle, with only 158,889.
Meanwhile, the county with the most recorded cattle in Northern Ireland was Tyrone, with the Red Hand County home to 392,970 cows.
Second and third on the list, respectively, were Antrim (341,533) and Down (336,133).
Armagh occupy fourth on the list, with the county being home to 231,200.
Foyle has the third-lowest amount of cattle across all the Westminster constituencies of Northern Ireland when the four Belfast constituencies are combined into one, with a recorded 15,931.
Only the combined Belfast constituencies (9,425) and North Down (11,497) had more cattle recorded.
East Derry had a recorded 112,413 cattle that call the constituency home.
Meanwhile, the most populous constituency across Northern Ireland for cattle was Fermanagh and South Tyrone with 256,602, while West Tyrone was a close second with 211,712 cattle.
