Gardaí said investigations into the collision are ongoing

A man in his 20s has been charged in connection with a road traffic collision in Burnfoot that left three people hospitalised.

The man was arrested following the single-vehicle collision that occurred just before 10pm last Thursday night. 

Two men and a woman, all in their 20s, were taken to Letterkenny University Hospital for treatment of injuries that are believed to be non-life-threatening.

Gardaí said the man who was arrested has since been charged and is due to appear before Buncrana District Court at a later date.

Investigations into the collision are ongoing, gardaí said.
