Errigal Group Derry Senior Camogie Quarter final

Ballinascreen 4-13 ... Eoghan Rua 0-3

Eoghan Rua were the outsiders for the second game of the day in Ballinderry, looking for an early score to settle against Ballinascreen. Instead Amy Rose Mulligan had the sliotar in their net after 90 seconds and the favourites took control.

They dominated the opening half, holding the Coleraine side scoreless and using their pace to pin their opponents in their own half.

Jackie Donnelly caused the seasiders most problems and bagged 'Screen's second goal in the 20th minute as they took an interval lead of 2-7 to 0-0. Five Ballinascreen players made the scoreboard during the first half. There was a couple of frees that might well have got Eoghan Rua off the mark, but both pulled narrowly wide.

Grace Kelly and Aoife Doyle pointed on the re-start as Coleraine raised their game in defence and it wasn't until the 40th minute that they conceded a third goal, Jackie Donnelly finishing from close range.

Eoghan Rua eventually got off the mark with a point from Shauna Doherty ten minutes later and Tess Mullan and Gráinne Holmes (free) quickly added two more before Aoife Doyle killed them off with the fourth 'Screen goal five minutes from time.
