The NI Food to Go Association will arrive in Derry tomorrow (Tuesday 24th September), bringing its first ever roadshow to the Maiden City.

The organisation, which was founded by Michael Henderson in 2019, has been helping its 750+ members who run food to go businesses throughout Northern Ireland navigate the ever-growing and evolving industry here, particularly in some of the most challenging few years.

The Derry Roadshow, which has the backing of the Derry and Strabane District Council Mayor, Cllr Lilian Seenoi-Barr, and is supported by leading supplier to the industry Henderson Foodservice, Go Succeed, Invest NI, Legenderry Food, North West Regional College Foodovation and the Derry Chamber, will host a wide range of suppliers to the industry to bring even more cost-effective options for businesses operating throughout the area.

Michael Henderson, CEO of the NI Food to Go Association added; “The North West has some of Northern Ireland’s most successful food to go businesses. It is a foodie destination that has diversified and been creative, working together to complement each other and add value to the city and its many tourist destinations.

“The objective of the Roadshow is to showcase how NI Food to Go Association membership can help those businesses achieve their growth ambitions, and to introduce them to the many suppliers we work with, helping them be as operationally efficient as possible. We will also have experts in sustainability, packaging, HR and team growth, CSR and community engagement and of course, lots of foodie suppliers.”

The NI Food to Go Derry Roadshow takes place on Tuesday, 24th September at the Guildhall from 10.00am – 6.00pm.
