Dr Bronagh Doherty (née MacMahon), Deanfield, Limavady Road, Derry

We regret to inform you that the death has occurred of the late Dr Bronagh Doherty (née MacMahon), November 1 2024, beloved wife of Neil, Deanfield, Limavady Road, loving mother of Conor, Aoife and the late Fergus, mother-in-law of Sara, devoted grandmother of Farah and dear sister of Philip, Cronia and the late Alda and Orna. House private please. Requiem Mass will be celebrated in St Mary’s Church, Ardmore, on Tuesday at 1.00pm. Interment afterwards in St Mura’s cemetery, Fahan. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu of flowers, if wished, to the Foyle Hospice, 61 Culmore Road, Derry, BT48 8JE. Queen of the Most Holy Rosary pray for her.

 

Paul Doherty, 29 Hollymount Park, Derry

The death has occurred of the late Paul Doherty, November 2 2024, beloved husband of Rita, 29 Hollymount Park, loving father of Jason, Triona and Jacqueline, father-in-law of Clare, Mark and Paul, devoted grandfather of Abbie, Emily, Sophie, Paul and Riley and dear brother of Christopher, Carl and the late Kenny. His remains will be reposing in his home on Monday 12noon - 10.00pm. Funeral from there on Tuesday at 10.30am for 11o’clock Requiem Mass in The Church of the Immaculate Conception, Trench Road. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.

We regret to inform you that the death has occurred of the late Eileen McKeagney (Swatragh), November 2 2024, beloved wife of the late John and loving mother of John, Imelda, Frances (Grant), Thomas, Catherine (Bradley), Joanne (Conway), James, Aisling (McCartney) and the late Peter, daughter of the late John & Susan McErlean (Moneystaghan, Greenlough) and dear sister of Catherine (Hughes), Mary (Kearney), Margaret (Woods), Isabella (McKeagney) and the late Felix, John Christopher, Brigid (in infancy), Thomas, John and Brigid (Doherty). Funeral from her home, 6 Hillside Road, Gorteade Upperlands on Tuesday, November 5 at 10.15am for 11.00am Requiem Mass in Church of St John Granaghan via webcam st-john-baptist-swatragh - MCN (mcnmedia.tv), interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery. John Murray, 19 Union Road, Magherafelt

We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of John Murray, November 3 2024, beloved husband of Paddy and loving father of Claire, Anne, Joan, Oonagh, Kevin and the late Séan, son of the late John and Maggie and dear brother of Francie, Teresa, Gussie and the late Ignatius. Funeral from his home 19 Union Road on Tuesday, November 5 at 10.15am for 11.00am Requiem Mass in Church of Our Lady of the Assumption, interment afterwards in cemetery at Church of St. John Milltown. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul. Deeply regretted by his wife, daughters, son, son in  law Martin, grandchildren Karl, Eimear, Simon, David, Aideen, Caoimhe, Michaela, Zara, Lorcan, Hannah, Mia, Katie, Niamh, Sinead, Patrick, great grandchildren, sister, brothers, nephews, nieces and extended family circle. Carol Patton (née Ayre), formerly of Magheramason

The death has taken place of the late Carol Patton (née Ayre), 1st November 2024, peacefully at Culmore Manor Nursing Home, (formerly of Magheramason), beloved wife of Ron, loving mother of Brian and Cathy, devoted grandmother of Tara and Lucien, and a cherished mother-in-law of Paulina. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by all her friends and the staff and residents in Culmore Manor. Funeral service in Bradley & McLaughlin’s Funeral Home, 31 William Street at 1:00pm on Monday, November 4. Interment afterwards in Ballyoan Cemetery at 1:45pm. The death has taken place of the late Gretta Savage (née Savage), November 2 2024 (peacefully) at the Marina Care Home, Ballyronan, (Gretta), dearly beloved wife of the late Willie, formerly of 69 Ballymoughan Road, Magherafelt, much loved and devoted mother of Lennox, Margaret, Tommy, James and Hugh, dear mother-in-law of Mildred, Tom, Martha, Tracy and Margaret and a much loved grandmother and great-grandmother. House strictly private. Family and friends welcome in Garvin’s Funeral Home, 15 Ballyronan Road, Magherafelt, BT45 6BP on Monday evening (November 4) from 6.30pm – 8.00pm. The death has occurred of the late Christopher (Herbie) Steele, November 1 2024, (suddenly) at his mother’s home, 228a Tullans Park, Windyhall, Coleraine, much loved dad of Catherine and the late Christopher loving granda of Christopher and Elise, dearly loved son of Elizabeth and the late Robbie, dear brother of Alistair and Denise and a dear brother-in-law, uncle and great-uncle. Much loved partner of Christine. Funeral from his mother’s home on Wednesday at 12.30pm for service in New Row Presbyterian Church at 1,00pm followed by interment in Portstewart Cemetery.
