Derry Youtuber Adam B, whose real name is Adam Beales, will present a new television show for children on RTÉ this week.
The former St. Columb’s College head boy had previously been a presenter for the CBBC show, Blue Peter between September 2020 and July 2022.
Starring actress Demi Isaac Oviawe (Cork), YouTuber Adam Beales (Derry) and comedian Mary Claire Fitzpatrick (Laois), the first episode of RTÉ's new children's show "What's Next?" tackles fast fashion and young contestants from Cork and Meath take on the challenge of trying to win the 'golden brainbox' through their inventions.
Self-warming jackets, projector necklaces and electromagnetic fabric are some of the incredible innovations developed by young contestants in the first episode of a fun-filled new RTÉ Kids series in a bid to help save our planet.

“What’s Next?” is a six-part series, airing on 14th November on RTÉ2, asking the next generation to help answer the big questions facing our planet through their imagination and creativity, with contestants from Meath and Cork bringing some mindblowing ideas to life in Episode 1.
Contestants get to work alongside some superstar ‘researchers’ including actress Demi Isaac Oviawe, YouTuber Adam Beales and comedian MC Fitzpatrick, pitching their ideas to series judge, the Irish inventor, entrepreneur and environmentalist, Fionn Ferreira.
Episode 1 focuses on the world of fashion with young inventors Alisha Mooney and Jack McGuane (both from Meath) and Sophie O’Grady from Cork exploring alternatives to ‘fast fashion’ through ideas featuring sustainable alternatives and upcycling.
In a quest for inspiration, Adam, Demi and MC set off to meet a host of trail-blazing inventors and entrepreneurs who are leading the way to a greener future. Each team then brainstorms and develops their idea before battling it out to impress Fionn and be crowned episode winners.
"I’m so excited to see “What's Next?” hit the screens!" said Youtube Star Adam Beales.
"Working with some seriously cool disruptors to bring their ideas to life was an absolute blast. I can't wait for everyone to check it out!" he said.
