A 25-year-old man was arrested by officers from the Derry City & Strabane District Support Team in the city on Tuesday, December 3.
The arrest follows a search of a property in Derry where PSNI officers recovered a quantity of Class A and Class B controlled drugs along with a quantity of cash.
Inspector Pearce said: “Alongside colleagues from the Strand Road Local Policing Team, Strand Road Neighbourhood Policing Team and the Dog Section, the man was arrested on suspicion of a number of driving and drug related offences.
"A subsequent search of a property located in the Cityside area resulted in the seizure of a quantity Class A and Class B controlled drugs along with a quantity of cash.
"The man remains in police custody at this time.
