Several secondary schools across Derry have announced their decision to postpone their open evenings.
The decision has been made by the schools due to the adverse weather conditions.
Schools have thanked people for their interest and excitement to visit the schools, but believe it is in the best interest of safety for people not to attend due to the wintery conditions on the road.
These schools include St. Joseph Boys’ School, Foyle College, Gaelcholáiste Dhoire and St Cecilia's College, who have decided to postpone until next week.
Information about this can be found on the social media of the schools, and their websites.
