43-year-old man arrested in ongoing investigation into INLA criminality in Derry

A man has been arrested under the Terrorism Act as part of an ongoing investigation into INLA criminality in Derry.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "Detectives from the Police Service of Northern Ireland’s Organised Crime Unit have carried out a search in Derry this morning, Wednesday, February 19, as part of an ongoing investigation into INLA criminality.

"A man, aged 43, has been arrested under the Terrorism Act, and taken to Antrim Serious Crime Suite for questioning."
