TG4’s captivating GAA documentary series Scéalta na gCorn returns for a third season this spring with the final episode focusing on Derry.

Produced by Imagine Media with support from NI Screen’s Irish Language Broadcast Fund, the six-part series will air weekly on TG4 from Thursday, April 17 at 8pm.

Presented by Gráinne McElwain, Scéalta na gCorn (Silverware Stories) brings viewers on a journey across the country to uncover the remarkable stories behind some of the most treasured trophies in Gaelic games. From cups named after historic Irish patriots to more recent legends of the GAA, each episode offers a unique insight into the people and communities who have shaped the games we love.

In Series 3, Gráinne hits the road once again, meeting the families, friends, and club members who keep these stories alive. She explores the legacy of the names behind the silverware – and the deep pride felt by those who play for them.

The final episode takes Gráinne to Derry, where she visits the club and trophy named in honour of Brian Óg McKeever, a young player whose legacy lives on.

In The Loup, she learns about Seán Larkin, one of the Drumboe Martyrs, while in Dungiven, kitman Colm McGuigan shares the story of the Ulster trophy named after his father, Jim McGuigan.
