Elizabeth (Lily) Caldwell (née McCartney), 12 Kinsale Park, Caw

It is with deep regret we announce the passing of Elizabeth (Lily) Caldwell (née McCartney), June 13 2025, Peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital, (formerly of 2 McClay Gardens, Irish Street and late of 12 Kinsale Park, Caw) dearly beloved wife of the late Frederick (Freddie), dearest sister of the late Jeanette, loving aunt of Donna, Sandra, Trevor, David, Iain and Shirley, a very special friend to the McQuillan family. Service of Thanksgiving in D. & R. Hay & Sons Funeral Home, 24A, Church Road, Altnagelvin, Derry BT47 3QQ on Tuesday, June 17 at 11.00am followed by burial in Altnagelvin Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations in lieu if desired to Ebrington Presbyterian Church c/o Mrs Julie Faulkner, 22 Glenaden Hill, Waterside, Derry BT47 2LJ. Everyone is welcome to call at the Funeral Home and pay their respects to Lily on Monday evening from 6.00pm until 8.00pm. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by her family and close friends. “The Lord is my Shepherd."

 

Patrick (Paddy) Diamond, 61A Shore Road, Greenisland (formerly of Newbridge)

The death has occurred of the late Patrick (Paddy) Diamond (Greenisland formerly Newbridge), June 14 2025, peacefully at hospital, beloved husband of the late Irene and loving father of Mark, Stephen, Nicholas, Neil and devoted grandfather to Holly and Erin of Mark and Kathleen Terrett, (Whiteabbey), Jack, Olive and Alice of Stephen and Lorna Dawson, (Dublin) and Evie, Molly and Rose of Nicky and Jenny Kilpatrick (Glasgow), dear brother of Mairead, Paul, Shiela, Tom, Mary and the late Celine, Kathleen and Malachy. Funeral from his home, 61A Shore Road, Greenisland on Tuesday, June 17 for 11.00am Requiem Mass in St. Nicholas Catholic Church, 8 Minorca Place, Carrickfergus. Interment will be at St. Trea’s Chapel, Newbridge, 140 Aughrim Rd., Magherafelt, BT458HB. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul. Deeply regretted by his family and friends. Stephen Fisher, 33 Jack Allen Court, Derry

The death has occurred of the late Stephen Fisher, June 13 2025, peacefully at the Foyle Hospice, beloved partner of Kathleen, brother of Audrey. Late of 33 Jack Allen Court. A private funeral will take place on Tuesday, June 17. The Lord is my Shepherd.

 

Mary Elizabeth Kelso, 92 Tamlaght Road, Upperlands

The death has taken place of the late Mary Elizabeth Kelso, June 14 2025, (peacefully) at Antrim Care Home, 92 Tamlaght Road, Upperlands, dearly loved Sister of Tillie, Anna, William, Winnie and the late Robert and Noel, a dear Sister-in-Law of Bertie and the late Basil and a much loved Aunt and Great Aunt. House and Funeral strictly private. "Redeemed”.

 

Michael (Mickey) McErlean, 3 Kilresh Estate, Loup

The death has taken place of Michael (Mickey) McErlean (Loup), June 13 2025, beloved husband of Mary and loving father of Paul (Heather), Edelle (Paul) and Ryan (Agnieszka), beloved son of the late Barbara and Henry Hugh, brother of Gerald, Maria, Mary T. and the late Anne and Gabby, grandfather of Ethan, Rory, Enya, Conall, Molly and Kai. Funeral from his home, 3 Kilresh Estate, on Sunday, June 15 at 9.00am for 9.30am Requiem Mass in Church of St. Patrick Loup, interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Saint Anthony pray for him. Deeply regretted by his sorrowing wife, sons, daughter, son in law, daughters in law, grandchildren, brother, sisters, nephews, nieces and extended family circle. Family time only please from 10.00pm until 11.00am.

 

Peter Meenan, London (formerly of Derry)

The death has taken place of Peter Meenan, suddenly at his home in London, son of the late Barney and Bridie Meenan, formally of Ardnamoyle Park and Bracken Park. Loving brother of Jean, Joan, Brian (Barney), Thomas, Joe, John, Tina, Briedge and the late Martin (Squeak) and Michael (Ben) treasured uncle to all his nieces and nephews, forever friend of Dionne and doting godfather to her daughter Zoe. Funeral arrangements to follow.

 

James Mullan, 56 Drummond Manor, Limavady

The death has taken place of James Mullan, June 13 2025, Peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital, Late of 56 Drummond Manor, Limavady. Beloved husband of Sarah. Loving father of Sharon and Carol. A much loved grandfather of Caitlin, Megan, Rhiannon and Flynn. Son of the late Bob and Jeannie. Dear brother of Sammy and Jean. Deeply regretted by all the family circle. Funeral arrangements later. Michael (Mick) Stone, Peterborough (formerly of Derry)

It is with regret we announce the passing of Michael (Mick) Stone, June 13 2025, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital, (late of Peterborough), beloved husband of Margaret (née McLaughlin, formerly of Nelson Street), loving father of Mary, Samantha and Catherine, dear father-in-law to Gary and Darren, devoted grandfather of Sean, Conor, Shona, Leah, Sammie, Abby, Ben and Casey and great-grandfather of Noah, Emma-Leigh, Lauren and Lewis, cherished brother of Margaret, Richard and the late John and a dear and loving uncle to all his nieces and nephews. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by the wider family circle. Mick will be reposing at Bradley & McLaughlin’s Funeral Home, 31 William Street, on Sunday, June 15 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm. Funeral leaving Bradley & McLaughlin’s Funeral Home on Monday, June 16 at 9:30am to St. Eugene’s Cathedral for Requiem Mass at 10:00am. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Norma Donna Vine, 54 Lincoln Court, Derry

The death has taken place of Norma Donna Vine, June 14 2025, peacefully at the Foyle Hospice, beloved partner of Joe, loving Mother of Kayleigh and Siobhan, devoted grandmother of Scarlett, a dear sister of Alwyn, Glynis and the late Malcolm and Gweny. Funeral service in her home, 54 Lincoln Court at 2.00pm on Tuesday, June 17 followed by burial in Ballyoan Cemetery. Family flowers only donations in lieu if wished to The Foyle Hospice, 61 Culmore Road, Derry. Family time only please from 10.00pm until 10.00am. Rest in Peace.
