Derry Court

A man has appeared at Derry Magistrates Court following a breach of his bail conditions.

Adam Deveney (31) of no fixed abode was arrested on July 22 after police found him asleep on a bench on the Peace Bridge.

Concerned for his well-being, police woke him and found him to be highly intoxicated, in breach of his bail conditions that stated he must abstain from alcohol.

Deveney has had previous alcohol related breaches of bail.

Defence solicitor Seamus Quigley said that the breach was accepted and asked that he be released to a previously agreed address.
