North West beauty businesses announced as finalists for Irish Nation’s Hair & Beauty Awards 2025

Oceanic Awards have announced the finalists of the second 'Irish Nation’s Hair and Beauty Awards 2025'.

A host of beauty businesses operating across Derry and the North West have been listed as finalists for for the prestigious awards ceremony taking place in the Parkview Hotel in Wicklow this weekend (Sunday, August 17).

These Awards celebrate the outstanding achievements of salons, stylists, and beauty professionals across Ireland who have consistently demonstrated excellence across the industry.

Honouring those businesses that have garnered the most nominations over recent years in Oceanic Awards’ various hair and beauty sector-based awards across Ireland and Northern Ireland, this prestigious event highlights the best in talent, creativity, and customer service.

Oceanic Awards finalists are selected in a few different ways. There is no fee and anyone can enter as long they fit the criteria of the awards including being operational for a minimum of 12 months.

Nominations opened to the public via online platforms and social media, allowing customers and communities to put forward the establishments they love most. 

Many finalists run their own successful campaigns to rally support, proof of the strong community ties behind these businesses. 

Alongside these public submissions, the team at Oceanic Awards draw on their industry knowledge to directly recognise standout businesses and individuals who exemplify excellence in their field. Voting will remain open until one week prior to the event.

The winners will be announced at a prestigious awards ceremony to take place on the 17th of August at The Parkview Hotel.

The businesses from Derry and the North West who have been announced as finalists for the second Irish Nation’s Hair and Beauty Awards 2025 are:

Beauty Salon of the Year - Kat B Nails (Derry) and Natural Beauty Clinic (Derry).

Hair Salon of the Year - Habitat Hair (Moneymore); AMT Hair & Extensions (Maghera); and The Hair Studio Curl Specialist (Derry).

Hair & Beauty Salon of the Year - Nicole Cassidy Hair (Magherafelt) and Allure Beauty & Cosmetics (Coleraine).

Massage Specialists of the Year - Serendipity Holistic Healing Therapies (Dungiven)

Semi / Permanent Make Up Salon of the Year - AC Cosmetics (Coleraine).

Brow and Lash Salon of the Year - Ciaras Brows & Lashes (Derry).
