St. Malachy's Castledawson's Senior Camogie Team who won the 2025 Derry Camogie Intermediate League.
Castledawson completed their Division 2 league campaign undefeated at the weekend. As well as lifting the league trophy, they are also the top seed for the Errigal Group Derry Intermediate championship.
Castledawson now top Group A which has just three clubs, the others being Glenullin and Greenlough. Division 2 league runners-up Ballinderry will have Sleacht Néill II, Bellaghy II and Banagher for company in Group B, while 3rd placed Eoghan Rua Coleraine are joined by Dungiven, Drumsurn and Ballerin
The first round of championship fixtures are on Thursday August 28th and they continue over the next two Thursday evenings.
The top two from each group will progress to the knock-out stages. The winners of two of the groups will go straight to the semi-finals on the last weekend of September, while the third group winner, plus the four second placed teams will be involved in two quarter-finals on Saturday September 20th.
The Errigal Group Derry Junior championship is at the semi-final stage and both semi-finals will take place on Sunday 21st September as a double-header. They are derby fixtures with Magherafelt facing An Lúb and Drum playing city side Na Magha
Errigal Group Derry Intermediate championship
Group A: Castledawson, Glenullin, Greenlough; Group B: Ballinderry, Sleacht Néill II, Bellaghy II, Banagher; Group C: Eoghan Rua, Dungiven, Drumsurn, Ballerin
28th August - Group A: Castledawson v Glenullin; Group B: Sleacht Néill II v Bellaghy II, Banagher v Ballinderry; Group C: Drumsurn v Eoghan Rua, Ballerin v Dungiven
4th September - Group A: Glenullin v Greenlough; Group B: Ballinderry v Sleacht Néill II, Bellaghy II v Banagher; Group C: Eoghan Rua v Ballerin, Dungiven v Drumsurn
11th September - Group A: Greenlough v Castledawson; Group B: Sleacht Néill II v Banagher, Ballinderry Bellaghy II; Group C: Eoghan Rua v Dungiven, Ballerin v Drumsurn
Quarter-finals - Saturday 20th September.
Semi-finals - Saturday / Sunday 27th / 28th September.
Final - Saturday / Sunday 11th / 12th October.
