Catherine (Mabel) Brown (née Wylie), 44 Richill Park, Kilfennan, Derry

It is with deep regret we announce the passing of Catherine (Mabel) Brown (née Wylie), September 14 2025, Peacefully at Rush Hall Care Home, Limavady, (surrounded by her loving family after a long illness in her 82nd year) much loved wife of Trevor, loving mother of Greg, Nicola and Tim and mother-in-law of Paula, Billy and Emma, an adored grandmother of Caitlin, Ellie, Amber, Callum, Abbie, Olivia and Harry, treasured great-grandmother of Emily, dearest sister of Jimmy, Myrtle and the late Noel and Helen. Funeral leaving her late home, 44 Richill Park, Kilfennan on Tuesday, September 16 at 12.30pm followed a Service of Thanksgiving for her life in St. Peters Parish Church at 1.00pm, burial afterwards in Altnagelvin Cemetery. Family home strictly private please. All are welcome to pay their respects in D & R Hay and Sons Funeral Home, 24A Church Road, Altnagelvin, Derry, BT47 3QQ on Monday between the hours of 2.00pm to 4.00pm and 6.00pm to 8.00pm. Theresa Healy (née Doherty), 49 Galliagh Park, Derry

The death has taken place of Theresa Healy (née Doherty), September 12 2025, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital, loving mother of Denise, John, Orla and Aisling, devoted grandmother of Aoife, Dylan, Zach, Ayla, Austin, Rileigh and the late baby Lola May and Baby Sean, ex-wife of Denis, daughter of the late Elizabeth and James Doherty (Springtown Camp and Shantallow), a cherished mother-in-law and a much loved sister of Jimmy and the late Noreen. Her remains will be reposing in her home, 49 Galliagh Park. Funeral from there on Tuesday at 10.30am for 11o’clock Requiem Mass in St Joseph’s Church, Galliagh. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Family time please from 10.00pm to 11.00am. Queen of the Most Holy Rosary pray for her. St Pio and St Christopher intercede for her.

William (Billy) McCracken, 10 Faulkner Court, Derry

The death has occurred of the late William (Billy) McCracken, September 13 2025, peacefully at home, beloved husband of the late Frances, 10 Faulkner Court, loving father of Francine, John and the late Robert, father-in-law of Tracy and a much loved grandfather and great-grandfather. Family and close friends are welcome to attend the family home on Monday from 2.00pm – 8.00pm. Funeral service in his home on Tuesday at 1.00pm. Interment afterwards in Ballyoan Cemetery. Late of 45 Ard Na Smoll, Dungiven, Co Derry. Beloved wife of Danny. Loving mother of Danny, Martin (Carolanne), Jolene, Sean and the late Jude and infant Cathal R.I.P. Devoted grandmother of Jake, Tyler, Shéa, Aoibheann, Odhran, Emma and late infants Martin and Áine R.I.P.
