Hugh Gallagher, 25 Melmore Gardens, Derry

It is with deep regret and sorrow we announce the passing of Hugh Gallagher, September 29 2025, peacefully at his home, 25 Melmore Gardens, beloved son of the late Hugh and Molly, loving brother of Helen, Mary, Kathleen, Margaret, Liam, Pat, Eugene, Mura and Ann, sadly missed by his nephews, nieces and the wider family circle. Hugh will be reposing at his home on Tuesday, September 30 and Wednesday, October 1 from 11:00am to 10:00pm. Funeral leaving his home on Thursday, October 2 at 10:30am to St. Mary’s Church, Creggan for Requiem Mass at 11:00am. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Family flowers only donations in lieu if wished to Marie Curie, 29G Gortrush Industrial Estate, Omagh, BT78 5EJ. Sacred Heart Of Jesus have mercy on his soul. Our Lady Of Lourdes intercede for him.

Wilson Scott, 2 Sedgemoor Close, Coleraine

The death has taken place of the late Wilson Scott, September 28 2025, peacefully at hospital, late of 2 Sedgemoor Close, Coleraine. Dearly loved husband of the late Margaret, much loved father of Valerie, Heather and Maurice, father-in-law of Paul, Ricky and Carolyn and a much adored grandfather and great-grandfather. House strictly private. Service of Thanksgiving in Coleraine Baptist Church on Thursday at 12.30p.m, following a private family committal. Family flowers only please. The death has occurred of the late Natacha Therese Steen (née McDonagh), September 28 2025, peacefully at Causeway Hospital, late of 14 Downing Park, Portstewart. Dearly loved wife of Mark, much loved daughter of Desmond and Eileen McDonagh, loved sister of Pierre and sister-in-law of Andy, aunt of Ethan, Cal and Dylan, and loved daughter-in-law of Jennifer and the late Desmond. Rose Tohill (née Wright), 39 Meeting House Avenue, Maghera

The death has taken place of Rose Tohill (née Wright), September 28 2025, late of 39 Meeting House Avenue, Maghera, beloved wife of the late Sean Tohill and loving mother of Mary, Cormac and the late Myles, dear sister of Mary McGhee and Annie Boyle. Requiem Mass will take place on Wednesday, October1  at 11.00am in Church of St. Patrick Glen, interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery.
