Dave Elliott is a man on a mission to raise vital funds for Action Mental Health’s services across Northern Ireland on the Action Mental Health’s Break the Cycle big bike ride.
As Action Mental Health’s newest ambassador and the public face of Break the Cycle, a 293-mile bike race to help highlight World Mental Health Day, County Down Comedian Dave Elliott, is in the saddle for a great cause and is a man on a mission.
Dave’s cycle route will take place over just three days from October 8 until October 10, wending its way around Northern Ireland’s Action Mental Health services.
A grueling challenge to raise awareness and funds for vital mental health services in Northern Ireland, with the final uphill ascent to Stormont on World Mental Health Day on Friday, October 10 2025.
This isn’t going to be an easy challenge for Dave. More comfortable on stage than on a bicycle, Dave is mindful that he is also a father and wants to work on his own fitness and wellbeing. He also intends to vlog as he goes the distance and will likely bring his day job as a stand-up comic along to give everyone a laugh along the way.
You can donate directly to Dave’s efforts by texting DAVEFIVE or DAVETEN to 70085, or donate online through the link below.
You can also sign up for your own cycle challenge to help support Dave’s efforts. To get involved, raise funds or to find out more, please visit https://www.amh.org.uk/daves-cycle-for-mental-health/.
