Man returned for trial on series of drug charges in Derry

The man is charged with unlawfully supplying Class B drugs on dates between June 1 last year and October 11

A man has been returned for trial to Derry Crown Court on a series of drug charges. 

The man who had previously been granted anonymity appeared at a Preliminary Enquiry at Derry Magistrate's Court today. 

He is charged with unlawfully supplying Class B drugs on dates between June 1 last year and October 11.

He was also charged with four other charges of possessing class B drugs on October 11 2024.

It was accepted that there was a case to answer and there were no contrary submissions.

The man said he did not want to make a statement or call any witnesses at this stage. 

He was returned for trial on a date to be fixed and released on bail.
