The team behind the popular ITV series 'Dermot's Taste of Ireland' has concluded filming locally, with presenter Dermot O'Leary venturing to the stunning landscapes and vibrant food scenes of Donegal and Derry.

The new series, set to air on ITV1 and ITVX in spring 2026, will once again take viewers on a gastronomic tour of the island, following a hugely successful first series.

The second series continues O’Leary's journey of rediscovery, blending his personal connection to Ireland with its thriving modern food and travel culture.

Filming in Donegal included beekeeping with Abdul at Donagh Bees, sweeping views at the incredible Grianán of Aileach and Foraging with Sean where they gathered golden chanterelles before savouring them as ravioli at Letterkenny's The Lemon Tree.

The ten-part series is produced by Rock Oyster Media and supported by Tourism Ireland, Tourism Northern Ireland, and Fáilte Ireland through the Shared Island Tourism Brand Collaboration Project.
