Derry man pleads not guilty to domestic abuse offences

Laurence Moore (46) of Rockmills in Derry was charged with the non fatal strangulation of a female on February 13 with offence aggravated by domestic abuse

A man has appeared at Derry Crown Court on a series of domestic abuse offences. 

Laurence Moore (46) of Rockmills in Derry was charged with the non fatal strangulation of a female on February 13 with offence aggravated by domestic abuse. 

He was also charged with assaulting the same female on a date between January 1 and February 13 2025 and assaulting her on February 13.

Moore was also charged with interfering with a vehicle causing danger on February 13 as well as a course of behaviour deemed domestic abuse. 

When the charges were put to him Moore pleaded not guilty.

The case was adjourned until October 20.
