Cathal Mallaghan MP has addressed delays with Royal Mail deliveries.

Sinn Féin MP Cathal Mallaghan has called on Royal Mail to urgently address ongoing delays to postal deliveries in Mid Ulster.

The MP contacted Royal Mail after receiving reports from residents that letters and other important correspondence were not arriving on time.

“People rely on the postal service for essential communication including medical appointments, support services and bills,” said Mr Mallaghan.

“Delays to these deliveries cause real disruption and unnecessary stress.

“I have raised this matter with Royal Mail and requested an urgent update on why deliveries are taking longer than usual.

“Residents deserve a dependable postal service and Sinn Féin will continue to press for improvements and ensure issues like this are not ignored.”
