Nuala Friel (née Diamond), 35 Upperlands Road, Swatragh
The death has taken place of the late Nuala Friel (née Diamond) (Swatragh), November 9 2025, Peacefully at home, surrounded by her beloved children, beloved wife of the late Colum Friel, dearly loved mother of John Eddie (Kellie), Rosemary, Bernie (Tony Lupari), Thomas (Louise), Bridie (Damian McConomy), Columba, Finola (Lisa), Seamus (Orlagh) and Michael (Catriona), much-loved daughter of Tam and Rose Diamond and cherished sister of Henry, Patsy, Betty, Róisín, Bernie, the late Seamus and Maura. Funeral from her home, 35 Upperlands Road on Tuesday, November 11 at 10.15am for 11.00am Requiem Mass in Church of St. John the Baptist Granaghan via webcam st-john-baptist-swatragh - MCN (mcnmedia.tv). Interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul. Deeply regretted by her loving sons, daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers, sisters, brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and the extended family circle. Tara Goan (née Baldrick), Myrtlefield Road, Kilfennan, Derry
It is with deep regret we announce the passing of Tara Goan (née Baldrick), November 7 2025, beloved wife of John, Myrtlefield Road, Kilfennan, loving sister of Paul, Gary and Mark and a much loved sister-in-law and aunt. Everyone is welcome to pay their respects at W J O’Brien & Son’s Funeral Home, 110 Clooney Road, Eglinton, on Monday from 6.00pm – 8.00pm. Funeral service will take place there on Tuesday at 1.00pm. A private cremation will take place at a later date. Til we meet again on that beautiful shore.
David Johnston, Limavady (Formerly of Castlederg)
The death has occurred of the late David Johnston, Passed away peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital on November 9 2025. Late of Limavady and formerly of Castlederg. Much loved Father of Terri (Ian) Belinda (Andy) devoted Grandfather of Justin, Nathan, Grace, Arabella, dear Brother of Lorraine, Rodney and Diane, loving son of Jean and the late James. All welcome to call to pay their respects to David at Browns Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2.00pm to 4.00pm , Also Wednesday from 12.30pm to 1.30pm followed by Funeral service at 1.30pm and Burial in Enagh Cemetery at 2.15pm. The death has taken place of Martin Scott, November 8 2025, peacefully at home, 8 Knockancor Drive, Portstewart, beloved husband of the late Dorothy (Dot) and devoted brother of Iris.
