Jim Doherty, Derry
The death has occurred of the late Jim Doherty, November 13 2025, beloved son of the late Breege and John (Rosemount) late of Craigdene Residential Home, loving brother of Mary, Debbie, John, Bernadette, Lena and Danny, dear brother-in-law of Raymond, Kieran, Brian, Aisling and the late Irene and a much loved uncle and great-uncle. Jim’s remains will be reposing in his sister Bernadette’s home, 101 Grangemore Park. Funeral from there on Saturday at 9.30am for10o’clock Requiem Mass in St Eugene’s Cathedral. Sean McAlary, Maghera
Funeral arrangements for the late Sean McAlary, died November 13 2025. Loving husband of Mary (née Donnelly). Much loved father of Joanne, Paddy and Claire. Son of Annie and the late Patrick Joseph McAlary. Brother of Anne O’Kane, Brian, Mary, Kevin, Bernadette McGarvey and the late Patsy and Gerard. Sean is reposing in J. A. Gormley’s Funeral Home, 1 Main St, Maghera, BT46 5AA on Friday, November 14 from 6.00pm to 9.00pm and on Saturday, November 15 from 5.00pm to 8.00pm. Funeral in St. Patrick’s Church, Glen for 9.30am Mass on Sunday, November 16. Interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only. Gormley’s Funeral Home, 24 Cloyfin Road, Coleraine, BT52 2NU on Saturday, November 15 2025 from 12Noon to 2.00pm. Funeral to Enagh Cemetery, Limavady on Monday, November 17 2025 at 11.30am. Sadly missed by all her family and friends.

The death has occurred of the late William (Billy) Patton, November 13 2025, peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family, in his 92nd year, beloved husband of Mary, 7 De Moleyn Park, Academy Road, loving father of Martin, Alison, Brian, Sharon and John, father-in-law of Marie, Debbie and John, a much loved grandfather and great-grandfather and dear brother of Eugene, Cecil and the late Betty and John. Trevor Sloan, 24 Main Street, Tobermore
The death has taken place of Trevor Sloan, November 12 2025 (peacefully) at Antrim Area Hospital, in the loving care of his Family, 24 Main Street, Tobermore (formerly Grangegorm Drive, Ballymena), dearly beloved Husband of the late Heather, much loved Father of Amanda and Stephanie, a dear Father-in-Law of Ryan and Noel, devoted Granda of Megan, Matthew and Lucy and dearest Brother of Daphne, Ivan and Mervyn. All welcome at his home on Friday, November 14 from 6:00pm - 9:00pm and Saturday, November 15 from 11:00am to 8:00pm. Funeral will take place from his home on Sunday, November 16 at 2:10pm to Kilcronaghan Parish Church, Tobermore for service at 2:30pm, followed by burial in St. Lurach's Parish Churchyard, Maghera at 3:30pm (approx.). The death has taken place of the late David John Topping, November 13 2025, at his home, 16 Maybrook Avenue, Coleraine. Adored Husband of Ashley, Son of the late John and Irene Topping, Son-in-law of Ernest and the late Pat Kennedy, a precious Brother-in-law, Brother, Uncle and Friend. Service of thanksgiving will take place in Coleraine Congregational Church on Saturday, November 15 at 12noon followed by interment in Coleraine Cemetery. House private Thursday and Saturday. It is with deep regret we announce the passing of Julie Wray (née Sheldrake), November 12 2025, Peacefully at Foyle Hospice (surrounded by her loving family) devoted wife of George, precious mum of Tracey, Claire and the late Karen, adored nanny of Georgia, Aaron and Scott, cherished daughter of Louise and the late Roy, much loved sister of Peter and Mandy, special aunt of Claudia and Morgan, life long friend of Roberta O’Neill. Service of Thanksgiving in her late home, 10 Finn Gardens, Irish Street on Saturday 15th November at 1.00pm followed by burial in Ballyoan Cemetery.
