RISE for Palestine is hosting a unique event on Thursday, November 20, to celebrate World Children’s Day 2025 by unveiling the powerful artwork of 12-year-old Ahmed Madi from Gaza.
The exhibition opens to the public at 6.00pm at Pilots Row (on the fence outside), highlighting the resilience and hope of children living in Gaza through Ahmed's eyes.
Ahmed’s art has already touched hearts around the world, recently featured as part of Ms. Rachel’s stunning upcycled dress at the Glamour Awards. Through his remarkable work, Ahmed shares life in Gaza through a child’s eyes, capturing resilience, hope, and humanity in every piece.
The exhibition will remain on display at Pilots Row for one week before travelling to local schools and community clubs across Derry, where it will continue to inspire creativity and compassion among young people.
RISE for Palestine are encouraging the local community to come along as they celebrate the creativity and spirit of Gaza’s children.
