Raymond Lloyd Cooke, 178 Abbeydale, Waterside, Derry

It is with deep regret we announce the passing of Raymond Lloyd Cooke, November 19 2025, suddenly at his home, 178 Abbeydale, Waterside (surrounded by his loving family 62nd year) much loved and devoted husband of Marion, precious dad of Stephen, Linzi, Kyle and Megan, loving father-in-law of Gillian, adored granda of Sophie, Abbie, Hollie, Maddie and PJay, loving brother, brother-in-law and uncle. Funeral leaving his late home on Sunday, November 23 at 1.00pm followed by a Service of Thanksgiving for his life in All Saints Clooney Parish at 1.30pm burial afterwards in Ballyoan Cemetery. Family flowers only donations in lieu if desired cheques made payable to Clooney Parish Select Vestry c/o Mrs Helen Henderson, 5, Manning Way, Brigade, Derry BT47 6GL. Everyone is welcome to call at the family home on Friday from 11.00am until 9.00pm and on Saturday from 11.00am until 9.00pm. Very deeply regretted and will be lovingly remembered by his wife, sons, daughters, grandchildren, daughter-in-law, nieces, nephews and the entire family circle.

 

James Edward Thomas (Junior) Devlin, 36 Kilhoyle Road, Drumsurn, Limavady

The death has occurred of the late James Edward Thomas (Junior) Devlin, November 19 2025 peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital, beloved husband of the late Hannah, 36 Kilhoyle Road, Drumsurn, Limavady, BT49 0PU, cherished father of Kim, Marie, Jane, Rebecca and Paul and much loved grandfather of Juno, Lottie, Guy, Georgia, Katie, Will, Josh and Beth, devoted great-grandfather of Islay and dear brother of Angeline, Willis and the late Rosaleen. Junior’s remains will be reposing in his home. Funeral from there on Saturday at 9.15am for 10o’clock. Requiem Mass in St Matthew's Church, Drumsurn, BT49 0PX. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if desired, to Foyle Hospice, 61 Culmore Road, Derry, BT48 8JE. Junior will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him, may he be delivered into the loving embrace of Our Lord Jesus Christ where he may rest in peace. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.

 

Zara Michelle Hunt (née Harron), Limavady

The death has taken place of Zara Michelle Hunt (née Harron), Passed away peacefully at NW Cancer Centre surrounded by her loving family. Much loved wife of Clyde, Proud Mummy of Joshua, loving Daughter of Allan and Ruth and dear sister of Gareth (Charlotte). House strictly private (close friends and family welcome). Funeral service will be held in Christ Church Limavady on Saturday at 11.00am followed by burial in adjoining Churchyard. All welcome to attend the Funeral. Family flowers only please donations if desired and cheques payable to Cancer Research and forwarded to Browns Funeral Directors, 21 Aghanloo Ind Est, Aghanloo Road, Limavady. Zara will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her entire family circle and friends.

 

Hugh Megaughin, 7 Dairyvale, Limavady

The death has taken place of Hugh Megaughin, November 20 2025, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital, beloved husband of Nora, loving father of Thomas, devoted grandfather of Islay and dear brother of Marshall, Mary and the late William, Samuel and Bobby. Hugh’s remains will be reposing in his home, 7 Dairyvale, Limavady, on Friday from 11.00am - 8.00pm. Funeral service will take place in Limavady Gospel Hall, Irish Green Street on Saturday at 12o'clock. Interment afterwards in Enagh cemetery. The Lord is my shepherd.
