The death has occurred of the late Marie Barr, November 14 2025, peacefully at home, loving mother of Ellizabeth and Carolanne, mother-in-law of John-Joe and Kevin, devoted nanny of Cara, Harper, Oisin, Jack, Charlie, Aoife ad Amelia-Grace, beloved daughter of the late Jackie and Lily Barr and cherished sister of William, Gerard, Damien and Pamela. Marie's remains will be reposing in her home, 37 Liscloon Drive, Shantallow. Funeral from there on Thursday at 11.30am for 12o’clock Requiem Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Steelstown. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Thomas Diamond, Baronscourt, Derry

The death has taken place of Thomas Diamond, November 24 2025, formerly of Baronscourt, loving father of Orla, cherished grandfather of Eenna and Darla, beloved son of the late Gerard and Bernadette, dear brother of Attracta and the late Paul, much loved brother-in-law of Sean O’Callaghan and Mary Diamond, former husband of Anne and a much-loved uncle. His remains will be reposing in his sister-in-law’s home, “Sil-Sila” 58 Culmore Road on Wednesday from 11.00am to 9.00pm. Funeral from there on Thursday at 9.30am for 10o’clock Requiem Mass in St Patrick’s Church, Pennyburn. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery.
