A man has appeared at Derry Magistrate's Court following a breach of his bail conditions.

Patrick Kelly (18) of the Northland Road in Derry was on bail for charges including robbery and handling stolen goods in July this year.

He was arrested on November 25 following his second breach of his bail conditions in ten days when he was found to be in breach of his curfew and no alcohol terms that he had been given.

Defence Barrister Stephen Chapman said that Kelly had accepted the breach and that it had followed an altercation with his brother where Kelly was said to be defending himself.

He was once again granted bail with a 'final warning' from District Judge Ted Magill.

He will appear again on December 22.
