Derry Court
A woman charged with blackmailing a man who sexually abused her has been returned for trial to Derry Crown Court.
The woman who cannot be identified due to her being the victim of a sexual assault appeared at a Preliminary Enquiry at Derry Magistrate's Court.
She was charged with one count of blackmailing on dates between November 9 2021 and January 17 2022.
It was accepted there was a case to answer and there were no contrary submissions.
The woman said she didn't wish to call any witnesses or make any statement at this stage.
She was returned for trial to Derry Crown Court on January 6 and released on bail.
