The death has occurred of the late Annie Louise (Louie) Caskey (née Rainey), December 3 2025, (peacefully) at Antrim Area Hospital, dearly loved Wife of the late Ronnie, 12 Cherryvale Avenue, Desertmartin, much loved Mother of David and Susan, a dear Mother-in-Law of Diane and Ciaran, devoted Grandmother of Emily, Adam, Hannah and Alice and dearest Sister of Thelma, Robert and Elaine. House strictly private. All welcome at D. Watters Funeral Home, Tobermore on Friday evening, December 5 from 7.00pm - 8.30pm. Funeral will take place from D. Watters Funeral Home on Saturday, December 6 at 11.15am, to Desertmartin Parish Church for service at 12.00 noon, followed by burial in the adjoining Churchyard. Family flowers only please. Margaret Kildea (née Gallagher), Derry

The death has taken place of Margaret Kildea (née Gallagher), December 4 2025, peacefully at Edgewater Nursing Home and formerly of Knockwellan Park, beloved wife of the late Hugh, loving mother of Mark and his partner Emily, devoted grandmother of Brody, Lochlan and Cormick, dear sister of Winnie and the late Hugh, Violet and Jimmy and sister-in-law of Danny. Everyone is welcome to pay their respects at W J O'Brien & Son's Funeral Home, 110 Clooney Road, Eglinton, BT47 3PU, on Friday from 6.00pm - 8,00pm.  Requiem Mass will take place in The Church of the Immaculate Conception, Trench Road, on Saturday at 10o'clock.  Interment afterwards in St Patrick's cemetery, Claudy. Queen of the Most Holy Rosary pray for her.

Mary Lynch (née Meehan), 19 Marian Hall, Derry

It is with deep sorrow and great sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Lynch (née Meehan), peacefully at The Foyle Hospice on December 4 2025. Late of 19 Marian Hall. May she rest in peace. Widow of the late William. Loving mother of Brenda (Peter), Christopher, Adrian, Liam (Lisa), Brian and Diarmuid (Martina). Devoted granny to all of her loving grandchildren. A much loved sister to all of her immediate family. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of her wider family circle and friends. Mary’s remains will be reposing at her late home, 19 Marian Hall. Funeral leaving from there on Saturday, December 6 at 9.20am for 10.00am Requiem Mass in St. Patrick’s Church, Pennyburn. Cremation will take place afterwards at 2pm in Lakeland’s Crematorium, Co. Cavan. Everyone welcome. The wake house will be private from 10.00pm until 11.00am.

The death has occurred of the late Tony McGonagle, December 3 2025, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital, surrounded by his loving family, late of 6 Iveagh Park, Prehen and formerly of Ballymagorry, Strabane, beloved husband of Claire (nee Porter), loving father of Sean and Bronagh, father-in-law of Rory and devoted grandfather of Ruairi, Ronan and Conor. Tony will be reposing in the family home. Funeral from there on Saturday at 11.15am for 12o’clock Requiem Mass in The Church of the Immaculate Conception, Trench Road. Interment afterwards in Burt cemetery. It is with deep regret we announce the passing of Mary Toye (née Shiels), October 26 2025, peacefully at her home in Derby, England, (formerly of Circular Road), loving mother of Mark, Ashley, Gareth and LB, a devoted grandmother and great-grandmother, beloved daughter of the late Mickey and Betty, and a cherished sister of Tricia, Jim, Betty, Teresa and the late Michael and Eddie. Requiem Mass will be celebrated in St. Mary’s Church, Creggan on Saturday, December 6 at 10:00am.
