Sylvia Campbell (née McLaughlin), 17 Carleton Court, Ballymagroarty, Derry

It is with deep regret we announce the passing of Sylvia Campbell (née McLaughlin), December 5 2025, peacefully at the Foyle Hospice surrounded by her loving family, beloved wife of the late Don, loving mother of Diarmuid, Mairead and Ciara, mother-in-law of Joan, Peter and Rory, devoted grandmother of Bonnie, Ruby, Daniel, Dara, Ryan and Ruairi and dear sister of Joe, Mitchell, Stella, Rosaleen, Margaret, Angela and the late Sr. Bridie. Her remains will be reposing in her home, 17 Carleton Court, Ballymagroarty. Funeral from there on Monday at 11o’clock for 11.30am Requiem Mass in Holy Family Church, Ballymagroarty. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Family time please from 10.00pm to 11.00am. Queen of the Most Holy Rosary pray for her. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.

William Andrew Campbell, Ashfield Drive, Portstewart

It is with deep regret we announce the passing of William Andrew Campbell, December 4 2025, peacefully at his home (Ashfield Drive, Portstewart), William, dearly loved husband of the late Elizabeth and much loved father of John and father-in-law of Moyra; adored granda of Layla and Zachary. The death has taken place of William Raymond Henderson, December 5 2025, (peacefully) at Antrim Area Hospital, surrounded by his loving Family, 41 Moneymore Road, Desertmartin, dearly loved Husband of the late Yvonne, much loved Father of Norman, Carolynn, David, Gregg and the late Sheila, a dear Father-in-Law of Joanne, David, Annie and Clifford, a devoted Grandfather and Great Grandfather and dearest Brother of Eileen, Iris, Fiona and the late Bertie and Harold. House private. All welcome at D. Tony McGonagle, 6 Iveagh Park, Prehen, Derry

The death has taken place of the late Tony McGonagle, December 3 2025, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital, surrounded by his loving family, late of 6 Iveagh Park, Prehen and formerly of Ballymagorry, Strabane, beloved husband of Claire (nee Porter), loving father of Sean and Bronagh, father-in-law of Rory and devoted grandfather of Ruairi, Ronan and Conor. Tony will be reposing in the family home. Funeral from there on Saturday at 11.15am for 12o’clock Requiem Mass in The Church of the Immaculate Conception, Trench Road. Interment afterwards in Burt Cemetery. Jean Norris (née Greer), Drumahoe

It is with deep regret we announce the passing of Jean Norris (née Greer), December 4 2025, peacefully at Culmore Manor and formerly of Hazelbank Road, Drumahoe and Somme Park, beloved wife of the late Edward, devoted and loving mother of Jane, dear sister of the late Dorothy, sister-in-law of David and cherished and much loved aunt of Fiona. Deeply regretted by all her extended family and friends. Jean’s remains will be reposing in W J O’Brien & Son’s Funeral Directors, 110 Clooney Road, Eglinton, BT47 3PU, on Saturday from 3 – 5 pm. The death has taken place of Betty Simms (née Cloherty), December 5 2025, peacefully at Longfield Care Home (formerly of Carnhill and Buncrana) beloved wife of the late Willie, loving mother of Bernard, Tanya and Peter, cherished grandmoher of Nicole, Beth, Ryan, Abbi, Ben, Adam, Maggie and Peter, great-grandmother of Cian, much loved daughter of the late Peter and Elizabeth and dear sister of Una, Rita, Kathleen, Helen, Gloria and Peter. Deeply regretted by all her extended family and friends. Betty’s remains will be reposing in her son’s home, 18 Knockalla Park. Funeral from there on Monday for 9.30am Requiem Mass in St Brigid’s Church, Carnhill. Interment afterwards in St Mary’s Cemetery, Cockhill, Buncrana.
