Donegal player won €500,000 in latest Euromillions draw
A lucky Euromillions punter in Donegal has won €500,000.
The winning ticket came from the draw on Tuesday, December 9, and secured the top prize for the yet unclaimed ticket, after getting all five numbers in the Euromillions Plus draw.
An even luckier participant in Belgium won the full Euromillions prize of €142,433,804.
The big win in Donegal comes as the National Lottery launched an urgent appeal to Daily Million Plus players in Ardara to check their tickets from the 2pm draw on Sunday, October 12, as a €500,000 top prize has yet to be claimed.
Ardara Filling Station, Portnoo Road, Ardara, was the location where the winning ticket was purchased on Friday, October 10.
Members from the National Lottery were due to visit Ardara to further publicise an appeal, but couldn’t visit due to unforeseen circumstances.
Players have 90 days of the draw to claim their prize. The final deadline to claim the prize is Saturday, January 10, 2026.
