The death has taken place of Rosemary Calvin (née Sutherland), December 10 2025, peacefully at her home, 31 Liffock Park, Castlerock, dearly beloved wife of Wilson, daughter of Jean and the late William Sutherland and sister of Willis, Jennifer, Caroline, Christine, Valerie and the late Trevor and step-mother of Mark and Natasha. Funeral Service in Wades Funeral Home, Coleraine on Saturday at 11.00am followed by interment in Coleraine Cemetery. House strictly private, Family flowers only. Briege Carlin (née McGilloway), 60 Foyle Road, Derry

It is with deep sorrow and great sadness that we announce the passing of Briege Carlin (née McGilloway), peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital on December 10 2025. Late of 60 Foyle Road and formerly of 3 Eskaheen View. May she rest in peace. Beloved wife of Andy. Devoted mother of Sandra, Paula, Lorna, Tony and Andrea. Loving granny and great-granny to all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A much loved mother-in-law. Beloved daughter of the late Danny and Lily (née Davis) late of 28 Lislane Drive. Dearest sister of Ann, Tony, James, Mena, Gabriel and the late Sadie. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all her wider family circle and friends. Briege’s remains will be reposing at her late home, 60 Foyle Road. Funeral leaving from there on Saturday, December 13 at 9:20am for 10.00am Requiem Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Creggan. Monica Doherty (née Coyle), 33 Florence Streetc, Derry

Funeral arrangements for the late Monica Doherty (née Coyle), December 10 2025, suddenly at Altnagelvin Hospital, surrounded by her loving family, beloved wife of Gerard, loving mother of James, Gerard, Joanne and Martin, mother-in-law to Angela, devoted grandmother of Sean, Christina, Adam and Aaron and great-grandmother of Charlie, Joshua, Corey and Audrey-Mae, dear daughter of the late James and Margaret, (formerly of Aristan Street, Rosemount), cherished sister of Noel, Mary and the late Ann and Andrew. Loved and will be sadly missed by her wider family circle, friends and neighbours. Monica will be reposing at her home, 33 Florence Street. Funeral leaving her home on Saturday, December 13 at 9:20am to St. Eugene’s Cathedral for Requiem Mass at 10:00am. Dinah Gillespie (née Montgomery), 7 Durham Park, Kilfennan, Derry

It is with deep regret we announce the passing of Dinah Gillespie (née Montgomery), December 9 2025, peacefully at her home, beloved wife of the late Graham, loving mother of Richard, cherished mother-in-law of Joanne, devoted grandmother of Rachel and Emma and dear sister of Heather, Pauline, Geoffrey and Jonathan. Everyone is welcome to pay their respects at the family home, 7 Durham Park, Kilfennan on Friday from 2.00pm - 10.00pm. Service of thanksgiving will take place there on Saturday at 12.30pm. Interment afterwards in Altnagelvin Cemetery. At Dinah's request, please wear something blue at the funeral. Family flowers only please. James Gillespie, 3 Killea Road, Derry

The death has taken place of James Gillespie, December 10 2025, peacefully at Culmore Manor Care Home, (formerly of 3 Killea Road and London), beloved husband of the late Annie, loving father of Irene, Yvonne and the late Norman and a devoted grandfather and great-grandfather. Loved and will be sadly missed by his wider family circle, friends and neighbours. James will be reposing in Bradley & McLaughlin’s Funeral Chapel on Friday, December 12 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm and Saturday from 1:30pm to 3:15pm. Removal leaving there at 3:30pm to Immaculate Conception Church, Killea for funeral Mass on Sunday, December 14 at 12:00noon. Interment afterwards in All Saints Cemetery Newtowncunningham. Sacred Heart Of Jesus have mercy on his soul. Our Lady Of Lourdes intercede for him.

George Kenneth (Kenny) McBride, Ardmore Drive, Portstewart

The death has occurred of the late George Kenneth (Kenny) McBride, December 10 2025, peacefully at his home, Ardmore Drive, Portstewart, formerly of Castleroe, dearly beloved husband of Marion, much loved father of Ruth and the late baby Claire, dear father-in-law of David, devoted grandfather of Eliza and dear brother of Rita and Julie. Service of Thanksgiving in Hazelbank Presbyterian Church on Saturday at 1.00pm. Friends welcome at his daughter Ruth's home, 14 York Avenue, Portstewart on Friday between 4.00pm and 8.00pm. The death has occurred of the late William Joseph (Billy) McLeese, December 10 2025, (peacefully) at The Robinson Hospital, Ballymoney, late of 26 Cuilrath Street, Coleraine, dearly loved husband of Patricia, much loved father of Darren, Sheldon, Ryan, Adrian, Florence, Noeleen, Brona and Trudi, a dear father-in-law, grandfather and great-grandfather and a loving brother and uncle. A graveside service will be held in Ballywillan Cemetery on Saturday at 11.30am. House strictly private. Family flowers only please. Dearly beloved husband of Elizabeth, loving father of Jill, Mark and Jennifer, father-in-law of Philip, Anne and Jason, much loved grandfather of Mark, Ross, Cara, Joshua, Blair, Alexandra, Harry, Darcy and the late Ryan; great- grandfather of Riley, Isla, Remi and Alfie and dear brother of the late Maureen and Valerie. Family and friends are welcome to call at the family home. Service of Thanksgiving in Aghadowey Presbyterian Church on Sunday at 2.30pm followed by interment in the adjoining Churchyard. Family flowers only please.
