Derry primary school pupils unite for 'Our Christmas Wish' performance at Guildhall

Young people from schools across the city will take to the stage at the Guildhall for Our Christmas Wish, a powerful choir performance taking place on Tuesday, December 16 at 1.45pm.

Children from Nazareth House Primary School, Fountain Primary School, St Eugene’s Primary School and Long Tower Primary School will come together to perform festive favourites to the beautiful backdrop of the Guildhall.

Speaking ahead of the event, Eibhlín Morrison, project coordinator said: “We’re really delighted to be working with our primary schools to organise a beautiful afternoon of music to really kick off the Christmas season.

“The children have put a lot of work into this and it’s lovely to see them coming together to perform in one of our city’s most beautiful buildings."

The event will take place in the Main Hall and is free and open to the public, with families, friends and members of the wider community welcome to attend.

Our Christmas Wish forms part of Féile’s Connect–Interact–Create project, supported by The Executive Office’s Central Good Relations Fund.
