It is with deep regret we announce the passing of Gerardine Doherty (née O’Doherty), December 16 2025, peacefully at Melmount Care Home, surrounded by her loving family, (formerly of Rinmore Drive), loving mother of Connor, Diarmuid, Catriona and Niall, dear mother-in-law to Helen, Jenny and Gerard and a devoted grandmother and aunt to her nieces and nephews, dear daughter of the late Gerard and Isobel, cherished sister of Therese, Maeve, Fr. Colm and Cathal. Loved and will be sadly missed by her wider family circle, friends and neighbours. Gerardine will be reposing at her home, 37 Brookhill. House Private From 10:00pm to 10:00am. Funeral leaving her home on Thursday, December 18 at 10:20am to Our Lady Of Lourdes Church, Steelstown for Requiem Mass at 11:00am. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Family Flowers Only. The death has occurred of the late Pat Galbraith, passed away gently, on December 16 2025, surrounded by her family, after a life defined by love, kindness, and quiet strength. Beloved wife of the late William (Willie). Much loved mother of Debra and Darren, dear mother-in-law of Tim and Andrea. Proud and cherished grandmother of Lucy, Ben and Harrison. Deeply loved and sadly missed by her wider family, close dear friends, and all who knew her. Funeral service will take place from late her home, Flat 20, Glenhouse Mews, 9 Main Street, Eglinton, with interment afterwards in Altnagelvin Cemetery on Thursday at 1.30pm for graveside service at 2.00pm. Formerly of 46 Magheramore Road, Teavin, Dungiven, Co Derry. Beloved wife of the late William James RIP. Daughter of the late Patrick and Jane RIP and dear sister of the late Pat (Susan), Arthur, Mickey, Johnny Bridget and Andy RIP. Loving aunt of Mickey, Pat, Ann, Susan, Sharon, Maggie and Geraldine. The death has taken place of (James) Vincent Flanagan, Passed away peacefully at Cornfield Care Centre surrounded his loving family on December 15 2025. Much loved partner of Marlene. Loving father of Vincent , Anthony, Christle ,Glen and the late James, Michael and Jolene. Devoted Grandfather of Josh, Amber, Dana, Vinnie, Cora, Darragh, Sam and Noah. Also a GreatGrandfather of Arthur. A dear Brother and a much loved Father-in-law. The family Home will remain strictly private.
