The Western Health and Social Care Trust’s (Western Trust) Health Improvement, Equality & Involvement (HIEI) Department is inviting registration for its latest series of free training courses, scheduled to run from January 1 to March 31, 2026.
Detailed in the newly released Update Training Brochure, these sessions are designed to support professional development and community wellbeing across a diverse range of health sectors.
The training courses in this edition, are found under the headings of Children and Families, Emotional Health and Wellbeing, Nutrition, Physical Activity, Sexual Health, Smoking Cessation and the Traveller Health and Wellbeing Programme.
The Department is delighted to introduce a brand new Children and Families event; Our Neuro Network – Professional Networking Event and a new Emotional Health and Wellbeing session – ‘Sexual Abuse, Sextortion and Sexual Exploitation in a Digital World’. Returning for this edition is Digital Safeguarding Core Awareness also found in the Emotional Health & Wellbeing section.
The courses in the brochure will be delivered either via Zoom or face to face in a range of locations across the Trust area.
