Festive Foyle jetski fundraiser 'a great success'
The Irish Jetski Club has thanked everyone who participated in or donated to its festive Foyle Search and Rescue fundraiser.
Event organiser, Ken Finley contacted The Derry News to say there was a brilliant turnout for Sunday’s event.
“Thankfully the weather was good for the festive Foyle jetski and we raised an amazing £300 in cash for Foyle Search and Rescue, with the online fundraiser (2025 Irish Jetski Santa run on the Foyle (https://gofund.me/fae6d0ca1) currently at £ 417,” said Ken. “We’ll be leaving it up for another week for anyone who wishes to donate.
“Thank you too to Foyle Search and Rescue for the warm welcome and the warm drinks afterwards. It was great having them out on the run with us this year,” he added.
“And a special thanks to Jamm in the Richmond Centre and Conor and the team for suppling some much appreciated food afterwards.”
