17-year-old youth charged with rioting appears in court for breaching bail

The court was told that the youth who cannot be named due to his age was stopped in a car at a retail park at 10pm on December 21 with his curfew being from 8pm

A 17-year-old youth charged with rioting has appeared at Derry Magistrates' Court today charged with breaching his bail conditions by being out after his curfew.
The court was told that the youth who cannot be named due to his age was stopped in a car at a retail park at 10pm on December 21 with his curfew being from 8pm.
A police officer told the court that there was no objection to the defendant being re-released on bail subject to conditions. 
The conditions are that the defendant resides at two named addresses, stay away from any police operation and not wear any sort of mask or face covering.
He will appear again next month.
