The death has taken place of Edward (Ted) Armstrong, December 22 2025, peacefully at Melmount Manor, Strabane and formerly of Rosemount Avenue, Derry, beloved husband of the late Maureen, loving father of Deirdre, Brenda, John and Nuala, father-in-law of Donal, Eilish and Artie, devoted grandfather of Ciaran, Niamh, Eamon, Conor, Sean and Bronagh, great-grandfather of Lily and dear brother of the late Dympna, Joe, Brendan and Anita. Everyone is welcome to pay their respects at W J O’Brien & Son’s Funeral Home, 110 Clooney Road, Eglinton, BT47 3PU, on Tuesday from 4 00pm – 7.00pm. It is with deep regret we announce the passing of Sylvia Mary Bonnar (Campbell) (née Simpson), December 22 2025, Peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital (surrounded by her loving family, formerly of 9 Sheskin Gardens, Irish Street) much loved wife of Cecil, devoted mum of Leonard, Yuri, Janet, Alan and the late Paul, dearest mother-in-law of Trevor, Alison, Justine and the late Jenny, adored grandmother of Leanne, Elizabeth, Bryan and Amy, dearest sister of Violet, Joan and the late Evelyn, Maureen, Cissie, Lily, Ken and Harold. Service of Thanksgiving for her life in Glendermott Presbyterian Church on Wednesday, December 24 at 12.00noon, followed by burial in the adjoining burial ground. Family flowers only, donations in lieu if desired (cheques made payable to W. Michael Devine, 90 Gleneagles, Derry

It is with deep sorrow and great sadness that we announce the passing of Michael Devine, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital on December 21 2025. Late of 90 Gleneagles and formerly of 7 Corrib Court, Ballymagroarty. May he rest in peace. Beloved son of Margaret and the late Adrian. Dearest stepson of Danny. Loving brother of John, David, Mary (Robbie) and Paul (Jessica). A much loved uncle. The death has occurred of the late Marealena (Maria) Ferguson (nee Solomon), December 19 2025, peacefully at her home, Late of Mountain Ash, Wales (formally Limavady). Loving mother of Katherine, Millissia (Craig), and Nyree (James), Myles (Charlotte), Paul (Sabrina), and Ross (Marilou), and all her grandchildren & great-grandchildren in Limavady and Wales.
