The death has taken place of Sally Barr (née McGuirk), January 7 2026, Suddenly at her home: 3 Edenmore Road, Limavady. Loving mother of David, Kevin, and Amy, and a much loved grandmother. Daughter of the late Eileen and Tom. R.I.P. Dear sister of Nuala, Mary, Michael, Neil, and the late Kathleen R.I.P. Deeply regretted by all the family circle. The death has occurred of the late Anita Eleanor Culbertson (née Farrell), January 8 2026, at home, 184 Mountsandel Road, Coleraine. Dearly loved wife of Martin, loving and devoted mother of Amy, Megan and Jack, and mother-in-law of Brandon and Mark. Much loved daughter of Anne and sister of John, Paul, and Mark. Dear daughter-in-law of Jack and Ann, and sister-in-law of Stephen, Trevor and Lynda. Service of Thanksgiving in St. Paul’s Parish Church, Kildollagh, Loughan Road, Coleraine on Monday, January 12 at 2.00pm followed by interment in the adjoining Churchyard. Family flowers only please. Gerald Etherson, 156 Dumagarner Road, Kilrea

It is with deep regret we announce the passing of Gerald Etherson, January 8 2026, (peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family) Gerald RIP, beloved husband of the late Alice (Ellie) (née Cassidy), much loved father of Gerald (Joanne) and Paul (Bronagh), loving brother of Bobby, Patsy, Danny, Harry, Bernie, Jean and the late James and dear granda to Matthew, Amy, Luke, Henry, Arthur, Annie and Jack. Reposing in his late residence (156 Dumagarner Road, Kilrea). His remains will leave from there on Sunday, January 11 at 12.45pm for 1.30pm Requiem Mass in St Mary’s Church, Drumagarner (which will be broadcast live via “WJ O’Donnell & Sons Funeral Directors” Facebook page) burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery remains. NB: Family time requested each day please between 10.00pm and 10.00am. Deeply regretted by his sorrowing sons, daughters in law, brothers, sisters, brothers in law, sisters in law, grandchildren and all the family circle. The death has taken place of Michael McErlain (Ballymaguigan), January 9 2026, beloved husband of the late Mary Bridget and loving father of Noel (Colette), Niall (Clare), Joan (Paul Foley), Ciara, Michael and the late Tracey, son of the late Michael and Elizabeth and dear brother of Seamus, Peggy, Antoinette McKeown, Annie McKenna and the late Mary and Josephine. Funeral from his home, 201 Shore Road on Monday, January12  at 1.15pm for 2.00pm Requiem Mass in Church of St. Trea Newbridge via webcam Church of St. Trea, interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul. Deeply regretted by his sons, daughters, grandchildren Lisa, Tiérnan, Ríona, Olivia, Lucy, Sam, Clara, Charlie, Alfie, Mary Beth, Caleb and Finn, brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces and extended family circle. Kathleen O’Neill (née O’Neill), 196 Altinure Road Park, Claudy

We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Kathleen O’Neill (née O’Neill), peacefully at home on January 9 2026. May she rest in peace. Late of 196 Altinure Road Park, Claudy, Co Derry. Beloved wife of the late Michael RIP. Loving mother of Seamus, Mary-Claire, Donna, Colette, Pauline and Michelle. Devoted grandmother of Rhianna, Cahir, Ava, Indiya, Rielly, Daniel, Jack, Grace and the late baby Thomas. Daughter of the late Maryann and Michael RIP and dear sister of Annie and the late Michael, Lily and Mary RIP. We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of David Simpson, Passed away peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital on January 9 2026. Late of 35 Derryork Road, Dungiven. Much loved husband of Athline, loving Father of the late Gareth, devoted grandfather of Craig. Much loved father of Teresa, Dermot, Eamon, Johnny and Mairead. Grandfather of Joan, Charlie, Eimear, Orla and Sophie. Son of the late Thomas and Bridget Skelly. Dearly beloved wife of the late Hal and Donald McIlgorm, much loved mother of Valerie, Alistair and Ian, dearly loved mother-in-law to Irwin, Rosemary and Karen, dear grandmother and great-grandmother, beloved sister of Vivian, Wilfred and Ann Keys and Dorothy White. Funeral service in Ballywillan Presbyterian Church on Saturday, January 17 2026 at 12.00pm, followed by interment in Ballywillan Cemetery. No flowers, please.
