Donegal woman returned for trial to Derry Crown Court over series of drug charges

Suspended sentence for Donegal man at Derry Magistrate's Court

A woman has been returned for trial to Derry Crown Court on a number of drug charges following a Preliminary Enquiry at Derry Magistrate's Court.

Siun Herron (27) of Kildrum Meadows in Donegal was charged with, on March 6 and March 25 last year, attempted possession of class B drugs.

She was also charged with, on March 25 and April 11 last year, being in possession of class B drugs and, between January 3 2024 and March 26 last year, being concerned in the supply of class A and class B drugs.

It was accepted that there was a case to answer and there were no contrary submissions.

Herron chose not to submit any statements and not to call any witnesses.

She was returned for trial to Derry Crown Court and will appear again on February 10.
