Derry Court
A man has been given a suspended sentence at Derry Magistrate's Court for possessing of Class C drugs.
Michael Connors (30) of Patrick Street in Derry was charged with the offence that occurred on January 13.
Police had been observing Connors and when they went to speak to him found him to be 'quite evasive'.
They then found Class C tablets on his person.
Defence Barrister Stephen Chapman said that Connors had pleaded guilty and added that the tablets were 'strictly for personal use'.
