Multiple cars had tyres slashed earlier today.
Up to 15 parked vehicles had tyres slashed in Limavady earlier today, it's understood.
The cars, which were parked in the Glens area of the town, just off the Ballyquin Road, were targeted in the act of vandalism.
It's believed the vehicles belong to students who attend a nearby school.
It's understood some of the cars had multiple tyres slashed during the incident.
Local businessman Michael Hill, owner of Premium 7 Tyres, helped to get some of those affected back on the road.
Posting about the incident on Facebook, Mr Hill said: "15 cars were the victim of a local vigilante. We were first on the scene and glad to be able to help people get back on the road. We operated on nine cars with an average of three stab wounds to a minimum of two tyres per vehicle. Shocking stuff folks! Stay safe out there!"
The PSNI have been contacted for comment.
