The death has occurred of the late Kathleen Guthrie (née Doherty), January 28 2026, peacefully at her home in Holywood. Kathleen, formerly of Castlerock and Portstewart. Dearly loved wife of the late Alex and much loved mother of Lorraine, Catherine, Barbara, Andrew and Alexander; mother-in-law of Mervyn, Jill and Roger; adored granny and great-granny, and a much loved sister. Service of Thanksgiving in First Dunboe Presbyterian Church on Saturday at 11.00am, followed by interment in the adjoining Churchyard. Family flowers only please. The death has taken place of Samuel James (Adrian) Hamilton, January 14 2026, (passed away unexpectedly while on a trip to Benidorm, Spain). Loving father of Isaac and Ellie, precious son of the late Eileen and Jim and dear brother of the late Keith, dearest uncle of Alison and Andrew. Frances McPeake (née Kennedy), 19 Tullyheron Road, Maghera (Formerly Toomebridge)
The death has taken place of Frances McPeake (née Kennedy) (Maghera formerly Toomebridge), January 28 2026, peacefully at home with her beloved family, beloved wife of Gerard and Loving mother of Tracey (Gavin) and Ciara (Diarmaid), Daughter of the late Hugh and Sarah Kennedy and dear sister of Kieran (Canada), Brian and the late Kathleen, Sadie and Robert. Funeral from her home, 19 Tullyheron Road, Maghera on Saturday, January 31 at 12.15am for 1.00pm Requiem Mass in Church of St. Patrick Glen, interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery. St Pio pray for her. Deeply regretted by her husband, daughters, sons in law, grandchildren Diarmaid Og, Eoghan, Fiontan, Padraig, Saoirse, Clodagh-Rose and Wee Fianna, brothers, nephews, nieces and extended family circle. Thomas (Tommy) Murphy, 97 Grangemore Park, Derry
The death has occurred of the late Thomas (Tommy) Murphy, January 28 2026, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital, beloved husband of Joan, loving father of Tomas, Declan, Jonathan and Gemma, father-in-law of Janet and Joanne, devoted grandfather of Evan, Noah, Bethan, Lochlainn, Meghan and Kailen and dear brother of Maureen, Kathleen, Ann, John and the late Michael, Joe, Jim and Rosaleen. His remains will be reposing in his home, 97 Grangemore Park, BT48 0RZ on Thursday from 3.00pm – 9.00pm and on Friday from 12noon – 9.00pm. Funeral from there on Saturday at 9.25am for 10o’clock Requiem Mass in St Eugene’s Cathedral. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.
