Eve Harkin Campbell, 94 Strabane Old Road, Derry

It is with deep regret we announce the passing of Eve Harkin Campbell, February 32026, aged 2 years, much loved daughter of Aodhán and Rebecca, loving sister of Lucy, cherished granddaughter of Jim and Angela Campbell and David and the late Brenda Harkin and a beloved niece.  Eve will be sorely missed by all her extended family. Eve will be reposing in her home, 94 Strabane Old Road.  Funeral from there on Thursday at 11.30am for Mass of the Angels at 12o'clock  in St Columb's Church, Waterside. Interment afterwards in St Mary's cemetery, Ardmore. Angel of God my guardian dear. 

 

Daniel (Danny) Cavanagh, 146 Strabane Old Road, Derry (Formerly of Creggan)

It is with deep sorrow and great sadness that we announce the passing of Daniel (Danny) Cavanagh, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital on February 2 2026. Late of 146 Strabane Old Rd and formerly of 72 Rinmore Drive, Creggan. May he rest in peace. Beloved husband of Jacqueline. Devoted father of Michael, Danielle and Gareth. Loving granda of Caolan, Jayden, Lana, Adam and Nathan. Precious son of the late Jimmy and Maisie. A much loved brother of Brian, John, Christopher, Rose, Frances, Tina and the late Patsy, Ann, Peter, Billy, Vincent, Terry and Valerie. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of his wider family circle and friends. Danny’s remains will be reposing at his late family home, 72 Rinmore Drive, Creggan. Funeral leaving from there on Thursday, February 5 at 10:20am for 11.00am Requiem Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Creggan. Burial will take place afterwards in the City Cemetery. The wake house will be private from 10.00pm until 11.00am. Funeral arrangements for the late Danny Coyle, February 1 2026, suddenly but peacefully at his home, beloved son of the late John and Margaret, loving brother of Eileen, Sr. Maureen (deceased), Eamon (deceased), Sean, Kieran (deceased), Mairgead, Liam, Antoinette and Malachy, dear brother-In-Law to Gerry McShane, Jean Smith-Coyle and the late Annette Coyle and a dear and loving uncle to all his nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by the entire family circle. Danny will be reposing at his sister’s Antoinette’s home, 14 Colby Avenue, Culmore Road. The death has occurred of the late Eileen Donnelly (née Quinn) (Magherafelt), February 1 2026, beloved wife of the late Johnny and loving mother of Kieran (Mary), Paula, Nuala ( Damien Martin) and Sean (Denise), daughter of the late Eddie and Mary Quinn and dear sister of Nancy Hughes, Olive McGuckin, Henry, Fr John (Salesian), Sally O'Connor, Brother Eugene (Pat) (De La Salle), Malachy and the late Maura, Edmund and Brother Ignatius (Jim), (De La Salle). Funeral from her home, 16 Castledawson Road, on Thursday, February 5 at 10.30am for 11.00am Requiem Mass in Church of Our Lady of the Assumption and via webcam @ Our Lady of the Assumption , interment afterwards in cemetery of Church of St John Milltown. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul. The death has taken place of William Joseph (Willie) Dorrity, February 2 2026, Peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of the late Mary Bridget (née Kelly) “Andy”. Much loved father of Paul, Donna, Moira and the late Séan and Liam. Cherished grandfather of Christopher, Mary, Conor, Hannah, Nathan, Owen, Pearse, Shea, Katie-Rose, Fergal and Maggie. Great-grandfather of Grace. Much loved son of the late John and Hannah Dorrity. Brother of Maurice and the late Rosemary Shivers, Kathleen Shaw, Sean, Bridie Donnelly, Sadie, Margaret McCrystal, and Kevin. Margaret (Maggie) Logue, St Anne's Gardens, Greysteel

The death has occurred of the late Margaret (Maggie) Logue, February 2 2026, formerly of St Anne's Gardens, Greysteel, beloved daughter of the late Cochrane and Susan, loving sister of Charlie and the late Ellen, John, James, Philomena and Agnes and a much loved sister-in-law, aunt and great-aunt. Her remains will be reposing in her brother's home, 52 Dunboyne Park, Eglinton on Wednesday from 5.00pm - 8.00pm.  Funeral from there on Thursday at 9.30am for 10o'clock Requiem Mass in Star of the Sea Church, Faughanvale.  Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Queen of the Most Holy Rosary pray for her.

 

Harriet McCallion, Limavady

The death has taken place of Harriet McCallion, Passed away peacefully on February 3 2026 at Altnagelvin Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Much loved wife of the late Jackie, devoted mother of Anne (James), Dear sister of Blanche and the late Beryl, also a dear Aunt. All welcome to call pay their respects at Browns Funeral Home on Wednesday evening from 6.00pm to 8.00pm. Funeral will leave Browns Funeral Home on Thursday at 1.15pm for service in Christ Church Limavady at 2.00pm, followed by burial in adjoining Churchyard. Beloved husband of Peggy (née Friel) and loving father of Mark (Claire), Sharon (Vincent)Doherty, Billy (Rosaleen), Carl (Patricia), Adrian (Nyree), Joanne (Stefan) Gibson, Claire (Ciaran) and Cathy (Paul). A devoted and witty grandfather of Olivia and Rocco, Aine, Niamh, Shauna and Aoife, Charlie and Ann, Hannah, Sean and Maria, Sullivan and Grace, Annabel, Ivor and Shannon, Eva, Ben, Cate and Anna, Noah and Maisie, also a loving great grandfather. The death has occurred of the late Hannah Mary Walsh (née Watson), February 3 2026 (peacefully at hospital surrounded by her loving family), 109 Innishrush Road, Portglenone, beloved wife of the late Henry, much loved mother of Kathleen (Quinn), Hannah (Healy), Harry Joe, David, James, Margaret (Kearney), Betty (O’Donnell), Pauline (McCann) and Sean and loving sister of Bessie (O'Neill) and the late Seamus, Joe, Margaret (McKillop), Katie, Sean and Pat Hugh. Hannah Mary’s wake will officially begin in her late residence on Wednesday, February 4 at 1.00pm. Her remains will leave from there on Friday, February 6 at 10.20am for 11.00am Requiem Mass in St Oliver Plunkett’s Church, Clady, burial immediately afterwards in St Mary’s Cemetery, Greenlough. Family time requested each day between 10.00pm and 11.00am.
