It is with deep regret we announce the passing of Mandy Doherty (née Donnelly), February 22 2026, suddenly, surrounded by her loving family, at Altnagelvin Hospital, (formerly of the Brandywell), beloved wife of Dominic, loving mother of Martin, dear mother-in-law of Brooke, devoted grandmother to Alannagh and Maria and great grandmother to Scarlett and Sofia, dear and loving daughter of the late Jim and Nana, cherished sister of John, Nora and the late Julie and a caring aunt to Manus (Diane), Colleen (Paul), Anthony and her nieces and nephews in the USA, Canada, Australia and England. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by the entire family circle. Mandy will be reposing at her home, 44 Marlborough Road. Family time please from 10:00pm to 10:00am. Funeral leaving her home on Thursday, February 26 at 11:20am to St. Columba’s Church, Longtower for Requiem Mass at 12:00noon. Raymond Elliott, 49 James Street Coleraine

The death has taken place of Jim Gillespie, February 21 2026, peacefully, after a long illness, at Altnagelvin Hospital,  (formerly of Longtower Street), beloved partner of Grainne-Maeve, loving father of Sharon, Caroline, Michael and Sinead, cherished son of the late Dickie and Sarah, dear and loving brother of John, Martin, Annmarie, Paul, Nichola and the late Richard and a caring uncle to all his nieces and nephews. Paul Hegarty, Coleraine

The death has occurred of the late Paul Hegarty, February 20 2026, peacefully at Brookmount Nursing Home, Coleraine, (formerly of Jordanstown and latterly of Coleraine). Dearly loved husband of the late Ellis and much loved father of Rev Gerald Hegarty, deceased (Karen), Angela (Alistair) and Elizabeth (Stephen); adored grandfather and great-grandfather. Service of Thanksgiving in Whiteabbey Presbyterian Church, Shore Road, Newtownabbey on Thursday, February 26 at 1.00pm, preceded by interment in Carnmoney East Cemetery at 12noon. No flowers please.
