Derry Court
A man has been remanded in custody at Derry Magistrate's Court less than 24 hours after being released on bail.
Matthew McCloskey (27) of Lawrence Hill in Derry was on bail for a number of charges, including assaulting and resisting police in November last year, and was on Monday granted bail following a curfew breach.
He was arrested again that same day for an alcohol-related breach after giving a reading of 86mgs.
It was his fifth breach of bail.
Defence solicitor Seamus Quigley said that McCloskey has 'a limited record' and issues with alcohol when applying for bail for this latest breach.

District Judge Oonagh Mullan said that he had 'been given chances' in the past and said that the defendant 'had brought this on himself' denied the application.
He was remanded in custody and will appear again on March 11.
